NAR committees are a great way to connect with REALTORS® across the country and make an impact within the real estate industry and the REALTOR® association. But don’t just take our word for it…

WHAT COMMITTE SHOULD I APPLY FOR?
NAR committees range in topics from like RPAC, MLS, business topics, or even insurance. But there are specific NAR Committees in which Oklahoma has an automatic appointment. For those who want the greatest chance of getting an NAR committee appointment, we would highly suggest applying for one of ten committees which Oklahoma has an automatic appointment, or one of the nine committees that have an automatic appointment from our NAR Region, Region 9. See all of those designated committees below or browse the full committee structure on NAR’s website. There is sure to be a committee that fits you!
Applications are due May 13th.
HOW IT WORKS
Begin the NAR by building your Expertise Profile. Your Expertise Profile showcases your strengths so the NAR Executive Committee can see where you would best fit. After you complete your Expertise Profile, you can apply for up to 5 committees, and you can request recommendations from up to 3 people to strengthen your application. After completing these steps, you are good to submit your application. Be sure to start early enough to give yourself time to complete all the steps!
DESIGNATED COMMITTEES
NAR designates a specified number of positions for REALTORS® from Oklahoma and Region 9 to serve on some of their committees. We encourage you to apply for these specific committees to represent Oklahoma and Region 9!
The committees with Oklahoma spots are:
- Broker Engagement Council
- Housing Opportunity Committee
- Membership Policy and Board Jurisdiction Committee
- Multiple Listing Issues and Policies Committee
- Professional Standards Committee
- REALTOR® Party Member Involvement Committee
- REALTOR® Safety Advisor Committee
- RPAC Major Investor Council
- RPAC Participation Council
- Risk Management Issues Committee
The committees with Region 9 spots are:
- Credentials and Campaign Rules Committee
- Housing Opportunity Committee
- Idea Exchange Council for Brokers
- Insurance Committee
- Land Use Property Rights and Environment Committee
- Meeting and Conference Committee
- REALTOR® Party Trustees for Campaign Services Committee
- RPAC Trustees Federal Disbursement Committee
- RPAC Trustees Fundraising Committee
