Each election cycle, the Oklahoma Association of REALTORS® works to support elected leaders who we deem are “REALTOR® Champions” – those who support property rights and the broader points of the OAR Legislative Agenda.

On November 8th, Oklahoma will hold elections for several political offices, and we want to update you on the candidates for whom out RPAC Board of Trustees have made political contributions. These candidates are those who have gone above and beyond supporting our industry, supporting property rights, and helping to make Oklahoma the best place to practice real estate in the country. Many local and national outlets expecting high-turnout and results with razor-thin margins for many Oklahoma races. So, regardless of who you vote for, your voice matters!

As the state association, we focus on state Legislative races, statewide offices (like Governor, Lt. Governor, etc.), and making recommendations to the National Association of REALTORS® on the federal delegation (U.S. Senators and Members of Congress). Below, find the candidates that OAR & NAR has supported for office, BUT be sure to reach out to your local board if you have questions regarding any local or county-level elections.

Each of the above candidates has been identified by the RPAC Trustees, in consultation with OAR staff, as REALTOR® Champions and solid supporters of property rights and the REALTOR® platform. The RPAC Trustees have voted to disburse more than $180,000 to state and federal candidates in the 2022 cycle.

Oklahoma REALTORS® continue to have the largest and most influential limited PAC in the state and our influence is felt every level: local, state and national. All the candidates we supported have so far won their primaries, and all are expected to advance out of the general election as well. However, there are some close races where we have added necessary support.

All of this is a reminder… your vote matters! Go out and support our candidates and help protect property rights on November 8th!
