Debbie Lynn Benton was a pillar in the REALTOR® community, having a wide array of knowledge about real estate and serving as a leader and mentor in the industry. To know Debbie was to know that she lead her life with honesty, trustworthiness, and knowledge. Debbie made a large impact within OAR and has left a footprint on this industry that will not be forgotten. Debbie practiced real estate since 1997, going to work as an Associate with Marlow Real Estate and later purchasing the company. Additionally, Debbie served on her local and state Board of Realtors including serving as District Vice President and Liaison to the six District Vice Presidents. Due to her tremendous leadership, tenure, and knowledge of the industry, Debbie was named state REALTOR® of the Year in 2017.Oklahoma REALTORS® offers our deepest condolences to Debbie’s family, friends, and colleagues. In lieu of flowers or gifts, Debbie’s family asks that contributions be made to sustain the LeadershipOAR (LOAR) program which supports emerging REALTOR® leaders across Oklahoma. Debbie continues to be a shining light in our industry, and we are incredibly thankful for Debbie’s contributions to Oklahoma REALTORS®, her community, her peers, and the real estate industry.
