Rooted in community. Proven in leadership. Ready for Region IX.

Renee Hoover-Payton has built her career around bringing people together, getting involved, and finding ways to serve.

A REALTOR®, former teacher, community volunteer and Past President of Oklahoma REALTORS®, Renee brings years of experience at every level of the REALTOR® organization to her candidacy for Region IX Vice President.

And now, with the support of states across Region IX, she’s ready for what’s next.

Meet Renee

If you know Renee, you know leadership comes with plenty of personality.

She calls Rush Springs, Oklahoma, home (the Watermelon Capital of the World) where community involvement isn’t just something you talk about. It’s something you do.

Long before serving as Oklahoma REALTORS® President, Renee was a teacher, an active member of her community and a volunteer with the Rush Springs Watermelon Festival. She’s carried that same community-first approach throughout her real estate career and REALTOR® leadership: show up, do the work, and have some fun along the way.

Today, Renee is a REALTOR® with Rush Springs Real Estate and a member of the Duncan Association of REALTORS®. Her involvement has taken her from local and state leadership to advocacy on behalf of the profession, but her roots remain firmly planted in the tight-knit Oklahoma community she calls home.

Renee credits much of what keeps her going to the support of her husband, Bert, their children and grandchildren, who have always embraced her love of giving back. They know better than anyone that when Renee isn’t spending time with her family, she’s likely finding another way to get involved.

From Rush Springs to Region IX

Renee believes some of the best leadership starts close to home. In Rush Springs, that might mean welcoming thousands of visitors for the community’s annual Watermelon Festival. In the industry, it has meant serving on committees, investing in advocacy, representing fellow members and eventually leading Oklahoma REALTORS® as its 2024 President.

As Region IX Vice President, Renee looks forward to representing REALTORS® across Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma, strengthening the connections among our states and bringing the voices of Region IX to the national level.

#RHP4RVP

Renee is proud to have the support of REALTORS® and REALTOR® leaders throughout Region IX as she prepares to serve as Region IX Vice President.
