When you are a part of the Oklahoma Association of REALTORS®, you become part of an organization of more than 8,500 professionals, united in their efforts to create a successful real estate industry in our state. No other association in the industry is as large or as active in the state of Oklahoma.
The term REALTOR® is a registered mark of the National Association of REALTORS® and may only be used by members of the REALTOR® organization who subscribe to its strict Code of Ethics. All three levels of the REALTOR® organization – local, state and national – are here to help you succeed.
Just as you serve your clients, the REALTOR® organization exists to support its members. Nowhere else can you join a premier trade association that truly represents the interests of the real estate professional.
Becoming a Member
If you are a real estate licensee and you want to become a REALTOR®, first you must place your sales associate’s license with a broker who is a member. Once you have established your affiliation with a REALTOR® broker, contact your broker’s local REALTOR® association. Upon joining your local association, you will also become a member of the Oklahoma Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
Becoming an Affiliate Member of the Oklahoma Association of REALTORS® gives you resources, tools and access to your target audience. Any unlicensed person, firm or corporation who is not actively engaged in real estate but has interest in the industry is eligible. Affiliate members may join and pay dues to a local board and/or the state association but are not eligible for membership to the National Association of REALTORS®. For more information, see our Affiliates page.
