National and International Speakers Scheduled for the Commercial Real Estate Summit
OKLAHOMA CITY – The Central Oklahoma Commercial Association of REALTORS® is hosting the 2017 Commercial Real Estate Summit™ on Thursday, March 30, 2017.
The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Nigh University Center at the University of Central Oklahoma, 100 N. University Drive, Edmond. Three distinct educational tracks will be offered focused on Development, Investment and Real Estate & Building Management.
Nationally renowned architect, landscape architect and urban planner Leslie Gallery-Dilworth will provide the luncheon keynote address. Gallery-Dilworth studied architecture during a time when it was traditionally a man’s field and amongst many other accomplishments, went on to be elected to the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows
International speaker on terrorism, David McIlhatton, Ph.D., Head of Protective Research Group, Coventry University, United Kingdom will speak on protecting society and the economy from the threat, risk, and harm of terrorism as well as preparing people and places for terrorist attacks. McIlhatton has worked on many high-impact counter-terrorism research projects. McIlhatton’s research informed the counter-terrorism policing operation for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and later introduced new counter-terrorism innovation for the protection of major sporting events.
